I teach from my own experiences...
While other kids were playfully drawing trees and butterflies, I was mixing the perfect shade of olive green which would finally be applied just so with the palms of my hands ending in a sopping green mess that I believed to be a masterpiece.
With dreams of becoming an artist, I did what many people do: go to art school.
A couple of art degrees later, I dove into the world of entrepreneurship because it turns out, creative thinking is also perfect for running a business!
As a self-taught business owner, I paved my own path as an artist and author with 3 self-published picture books I now sell in 20+ local stores. (I know, I still can’t get over this!)
I married a big dreamer like me, and we now have 2 little girls who have big dreams too, like popsicles for breakfast and sprinkle soup for dinner.
Yes, the days are filled with making snacks, hauling bags, and losing shoes as well the most snuggly hugs, playing outside and new discoveries everyday.
Making new things in the cracks of time isn’t easy, but it fills up my cup so I will keep going one baby step at a time.
My picture books are all about exploring the beauty of Bend, Oregon and doing what you love. (Check them out Here)
My Courses are all about how to get your own story self-published and into your own ready-to-sell picture book. (Check it out Here)
